Every Friday during the spring and fall semesters, the Meat Laboratory holds a sale in our retail store, The Butcher Block at Penn State.

From Penn State farms to Happy Valley plates, the Friday Meat Sale offers you a variety of meat products. We regularly feature fresh beef and pork, ham, bacon, and sausages, as well as beef snack sticks and summer sausage. Occasionally, lamb and poultry are available.

  • Sales start at 9:30 a.m. and operates until 3:00 p.m. (or until sold out).
  • We do not ship products—in-store purchases only; no pre-orders. However, you can purchase select products via the Penn State Creamery website.
