Electricity

Youth explore why certain things insulate from electricity better than others and the effect that magnetism has various substances. They also build a flashlight, a compass, an electromagnet, and an electric motor.

Learn and experience the Engineering Design Process and the use of LEGO Mindstorms EV3 Robotics. Participate in hands-on robot and engineering activities. Build, program, and compete! Participate in club activities and field trips.

Small Engines

Youth will focus on small engine knowledge, study of external engine parts, discover the tools of the trade, and learn the concepts behind what makes small engines work.  They will explore the uses of small engines and safety.  They will learn to tear down and rebuild their engines using diagnostic tools.
