Northwinds 4-H Camp

4-H camp will be three days and two nights packed full of workshops, games, activities, gaga pit, swimming, crafts, candlelight, dancing and campfires. The actual cost is $185 per camper, but due to the generous support from McKean County Conservation District, Seneca Resources, and National Fuel, the price will be $50 per camper. That is all activities, seven meals, three snacks, and two nights for that price! Campers will also receive a camp t-shirt.

The camp is open to all children ages 8-13 who live in Cameron, Elk, Jefferson, McKean, and Potter counties. The camp is currently held at Camp Penuel East in Eldred, PA. Their facilities include a dining hall, outdoor pavilions, a swimming pool, a campfire circle, and cabins with 8-12 beds each. All campers are supervised by trained counselors during their time at camp, with assistance from CITs (counselors-in-training) and authorized adult staff and volunteers.

Camp is held at Camp Penuel East, 1 Camp Road, Eldred, PA 16731 in McKean County. Campers arrive at 10:30 on Thursday, June 12 and depart at 3:30 PM on Saturday, June 14. 

There is no fee to attend for counselors. Camp is limited to 16 male and 25 female campers and is based on a first-come, first-serve criteria for registration. Camp counselors must be pre-approved prior to registration. 

Pre-registration to attend the event is required by no later than May 9. No walk-in registrants will be accepted.
