Crawford County 4-H youth climb the ladder to become well-rounder members.

Abigail Mozina and Anne Meszaros (with 4-H Educator, Paula Lucas) present on their Diamond Clover Award projects.
Twenty-four PA 4-H Clover Awards, which is a series of ladder awards that members climb as they progress through their 4-H participation, were awarded to Crawford County 4-H members in 2023. Anne Meszaros and Abigail Mozina earned the top-honor Diamond Clover Award. Both achieved this level after spending two years completing service-learning projects. Annes’s focused on educating the community on the 4-H program and Abigail’s focused on community gardening. Anne and Abigail were two of the twenty-four other Pennsylvania Diamond Awards recipients recognized by the State 4-H Office at the annual State Leadership Conference that was held in State College February 2-4, 2024 for their achievements.
