11 Clinton County Members competed at the 2023 State Horse Show in Harrisburg!

It takes lots of hard work, sweat, and yes...sometimes tears, to make it from the county show, district show, and then qualify for the state horse show! We have 11 young equestrians who qualified to compete in classes, including Showmanship, Hunter Under Saddle classes, Ranch Riding, Equitation, and Horsemanship. There were also trail and gaming class finalists! The group voted on the theme, "Sleepy Hollow" and had decorations and treats for families and participants to enjoy! This show took place at the PA State Farm Show Building in Harrisburg on October 26th-29th.
Also, during the show our own 4-H Horse project member Phaedra Bower was recognized at a ceremony for being a finalist in the 2023 Pennsylvania 4-H Horse Program Outstanding Member Award! Congrats to Phaedra!
