Citizenship Washington Focus
Citizenship Washington Focus (CWF), is National 4 H Council’s premier leadership and citizenship program for high school age students. While it typically takes place in Washington, D.C.
Eligibility: 4-H age 14-18, actively enrolled in the Pennsylvania 4-H program

Leadership Washington Focus
4-H Leadership Washington Focus is a summer program in Washington, DC that teaches middle school students about civic engagement and government.
Eligibility: Entering grades 7-9, actively enrolled in the Pennsylvania 4-H program.
Students will:
- Build confidence and motivational skills to lead others in meaningful action
- Practice effective inter-personal communication skills through group discussions and public speaking
- Work with others to create and accomplish goals
- Develop a personal leadership style
- Exchange ideas, practice respect, and form friendships with other 4‑H'ers from across the nation
- Experience hands-on learning using the historical backdrop of Washington, D.C.

National 4-H Congress
National 4-H Congress brings together 4-H members from across the country. Participants can expect to be inspired by speakers, gain skills, and learn how to make an impact in their clubs, communities, country, and world!
Eligibility: 4-H age 16-18 (as of January 1), actively enrolled in the Pennsylvania 4-H program

National 4-H Conference
National 4‑H Conference is the pinnacle experience in 4‑H Civic Engagement, providing the opportunity for young people to connect, learn, engage, lead and impact their communities, their nation and their world.
A member may only attend this event once. It is held in Washington DC in late March / early April.
Eligibility: 4-H age 15-18 (as of January 1), actively enrolled in the Pennsylvania 4-H program
Potential delegates may possess strong public speaking and presentation skills, interest in advocacy and community change, and ability to work with others.
