Penn State Extension Dairy Team Will Hold Producer Sessions at the Dairy Cattle Nutrition Workshop

A new addition to the Nutrition Workshop will be a hands-on session geared for dairy producers held on November 11.

Producer Sessions at the Nutrition Workshop will be a new addition in 2013 to the popular Dairy Cattle Nutrition Workshop scheduled for November. Geared to dairy producers, the November 11 program will be a hands-on session to learn more about a variety of nutrition and management topics. It will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Cost is $25.

To gain maximum value from these sessions, producers are encouraged to bring their own colostrum and feed samples for evaluation and interpretation.

Producers will be able to take advantage of the outstanding speakers and presenters who will be guiding the very popular Dairy Cattle Nutrition Workshop which follows on November 12 and 13. There will be ample opportunity for discussion and networking with other producers and with the nutrition professionals. The two-day nutrition workshop has grown to be one of the premier continuing education events for feed industry professionals and nutrition consultants in the Northeast.
