Annual earnings from the principal of this fund are used to support the operations of the Penn State horse farm. The Penn State horse farm allows the faculty and staff of the Department of Animal Science the opportunity to provide Penn State students and the equine industry as a whole high quality programming through teaching, research and extension. In order to guarantee the long term viability and presence of the PSU horse farm it is important that the farm position itself to become a self-sustaining facility in the future. Growth of this fund would help to allow for this long term sustainability.

If support of the Ward Studebaker Horse Farm Endowment is something you wish to consider, please contact Brian Egan, Instructor of Equine Science or Dr. Terry Etherton, Head of the Department of Animal Science, They will be happy to discuss your interest in supporting this endowment.
