Penn State Students Host Benefit Dinner

Posted: February 12, 2015

The Penn State Dairy Science Club and Alpha Zeta Fraternity will host a benefit for the Burdette and Stiles families, who suffered a tragic house fire last May.

The Penn State Dairy Science Club and Alpha Zeta Fraternity are hosting a benefit dinner on February 25 in support of the Burdette and Stiles families, well-known in the dairy industry in Pennsylvania, who suffered a tragic house fire in May, 2014. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the families to help cover medical bills.

The fire severely injured Mrs. Patricia Stiles and her granddaughter Reese Burdette. Stiles spent several months in the hospital receiving treatments and has since been released to recover at home. Seven-year-old Reese is still in the hospital in intensive care.

The dinner will be held at the Alpha Zeta Fraternity, 360 N. Burrowes St., State College, PA, and will include an "All You Can Eat Pasta Bar." Guests are welcome to dine in or take out from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Those interested in attending the dinner are able to reserve tickets or donate to the cause if you are unable to attend. Any questions or ticket inquiries can be directed to Caitlyn Pool through email at csp5180@psu.edu.
