Dairy Farm Safety

Posted: March 2, 2004

Don't assume that your employees are as aware of dangers in your workplace as you are.

Dairy farming is a dangerous business. It's important for you and your employees to be aware of the dangers so that you can avoid unnecessary risks to health and safety whenever possible. Don't assume that your employees are as aware of dangers in your workplace as you are. Most of your employees don't have as much experience as you and would benefit from safety training.

Please take a look at the English/Spanish leaflet on dairy farm safety available from Steve Sutter at the University of California.
