Gábor Vajta lives in Cairns, Queensland, Australia, spends half of his time in China and other Asian, European and American countries. He is director of a consulting company providing services in human and domestic animal embryology all over the world. He is author of more than 160 publications (books, book chapters and papers in peer-reviewed journals, with approx. 8,500 citations). Main topics of his research include cryopreservation of embryos and oocytes , cloning by somatic cell nuclear transfer, and various aspects of mammalian embryo culture.
