What's New?
Dr. Holden, along with Dr. Gabriella Varga, Virginia Ishler, Brad Hilty and Mark Douglass have a new research project designed to build "strategies for increasing on-farm profitability." The project uses the PA Dairy Tool and Income Over Feed Cost Tool as a basis for data collection.
Focus and Interests:
Research, teaching and extension in the area of Dairy Management. Program responsibilities include: Dairy Advisory Teams, Dairy Alliance, and faculty liaison for the Professional Dairy Managers of Pennsylvania (PDMP). Leadership for the Women in Dairy and Middle Managers conferences within Dairy Alliance.
International Programs:
International Experiences: Study Leave at Wageningen University during June and July, 2002. Teaching dairy farmers and farm advisors about TEAMS in the Azores, Portugal during June 2009.
